R² Controls - Working in the Office

Although R² Controls does lots of site work, there is a new 20'x24' office shown below.  With several computers running a number of operating systems a lot of flexibility is available.  Numerous fully licensed software applications can be put to use for you including:  Office 2000 Pro, Visio 2000 Technical, MicroGraphics Suite with MicroGraphics Designer 7.1, MathCAD 2001, Axum 6.0 (Graphing software works with Excel and MathCAD), QuickBooks Pro99,  TK Solver, VisSim 4.5 (Dynamic Simulation), Cape Simulation Software, access to Aspen & SimSci flowsheet simulation software, and many other tools and utilities.   The office provides space for staging equipment (like the RS232 serial link to a Yokogawa 4200 recorder or an OPTO 22 RS422 link to a Foxboro 762 Controller you can see in the picture below), executing engineering work, putting together drawings or documents and provides convenient access for books, references, project files, computer supplies and other equipment needed to run an engineering office.  Color printing in house up to 19x55 inches and large format printing with ChromaColor in Boston.

R² Controls is wired as seen by the new control center with 10/100Mbits/sec network, Cable modem, and Router to provide high speed Internet access and E-Mail to multiple computers.
